Solor Care offers specialist services for people with a learning disability.
Our staff are trained to meet a diverse range of people’s needs, including mild, moderate and severe learning disabilities, Autism and Aspergers and other genetic syndromes such as Downs syndrome, Rett syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, Angelmans syndrome and Prader-Willi, along with associated conditions such as epilepsy, complex and challenging behaviours, self-harm and mental health needs.
Specialist training is provided in order that the staff understand how the persons disability impacts on their communication, social interaction and everyday living skills, and how to proactively support people in the community, providing a truly person centred approach.
We recognise that everyone, whatever their diagnosis, is an individual with their own personality attributes, dreams and aspirations and we ensure that their support is delivered to enable them to live life the way they want to.
