Solor provides dedicated services for people who are on the autistic spectrum. People with Autism and Aspergers diagnosis have a wide range of support needs and each individual requires a package of support that is designed for them.
We ensure staff support people to recognise their needs, providing a structured routine. A consistent and planned approach means people receive support that they can understand and rely on.
The specialist training the staff receive, together with their experience, means that they can understand the autistic spectrum and the associated triad of impairments, learning disability and how these may impact on someone’s communication, social interaction and behaviour.
We have supported many people to achieve a greater understanding of the world around them and we are committed to ensuring people receive the support they need to gain greater independence.
We have Autistic-specific, individually designed outreach community services, supported living services and registered homes that have National Autistic society accreditation. We ensure that people with Autism and Aspergers have the specialist yet individual support that they want and need.
